Security Patrols

Security patrols are the foundation of effective private security operations. Effective security patrols is important because it allows security officers to optimize their operations on an employers property. Security patrols, both on-foot and vehicle, are used as a security strategy to deter potential wrongful and criminal activity.

If a possible offender observes a security officer remaining stationary for an extended period of time, then the offender will focus on committing the wrongful act on another part of the property which may not be under watch. By implementing a security patrol strategy, the security officer remains on the move while constantly checking up on all locations.

Our course educates security officers on the importance of conducting security patrols both in the classroom and in the field. Our instructors provide both general and specific training sessions regarding security patrols.
